Restoring your valuable possessions basically involves working on both solid wood and veneered furniture. Besides traditional cabinet making techniques we use related techniques including veneering, intarsia, marquetry, parquetry and woodcarving. In addition, we master various finishing techniques such as gilding, French polishing and wax polishing. While restoring, in principle, we pursue the use of authentic materials. In this respect one can think of wood with the same provenance, from the same area and from the same period as when the furniture/item was originally manufactured. But also as authentic materials as possible like locks and other hardware, antique display cabinet glass, etc.

Apart from (antique) furniture we also restore objects such as: painting and mirror frames, chandeliers and lighting fixtures, interior pieces (stairs, railings, windows, window frames, paneling) and works of art (statues, sculptures, ornaments, etc.) of various kinds and materials . Of course you can also turn to us for treating woodworm/molds which could seriously damage your possessions . And, for re-upholstering of your restored furniture, we work closely together with some leading upholsterers.
